Easy Easter Cupcakes
Easter was one of the first holidays I sold cupcakes for back when Tiny Bird Bakeshop started, so these cupcakes will alway hold a special place in my heart!

What You’ll Need
Here’s what you’ll want to have on hand before you begin assembling these cuties: cupcakes of your choice, white buttercream, Robins Egg blue food coloring, a chocolate bar (I use the “By the Pound” one from Trader Joe’s!) and most importantly, Cadbury Eggs! When I sell these cupcakes, they are in the flavor White Chocolate Raspberry. This consists of a vanilla cupcake, homemade raspberry filling, and a white chocolate buttercream.
Assembly
To start, you’ll want to dye your white buttercream with the blue food coloring. Add it in via small amounts so you don’t accidentally make it too dark! Then, take your chocolate bar and use a large flat edge knife to cut shards of chocolate, in varying sizes. Keep in my you will be using this to create a nest on top of your cupcake! Next up, use a large round piping tip to swirl some of your blue buttercream onto your cupcakes. You then want to quickly place three Cadbury Eggs on top in the center of your buttercream, and use the chocolate shavings to build a next around them. Once you have done this, your cupcake is complete, and ready to be enjoyed!
